Thomas Clarke

Thomas Clarke is a graduate from Brunel University in West London reading Film and Television Studies and achieving a BA Hons. Following graduation he worked as a freelance journalist on the TV titles of IPC Media and is now a full-time journalist for Golf Monthly magazine – joining the title in 2009. Thomas does not only have a keen interest in golf – he is Chairman of Harold Wood Cricket Club and on the Management Committees of both the Essex Cricket League and Essex Sunday Cricket League. He also has a passion for football, which he follows avidly, and has a keen interest in the green spaces and wildlife in Havering borough.  Understanding how vital a role local community group, Thomas was one of the original members of the Friends of Harold Wood Parks. Thomas is also the Havering Liberal Democrats Membership Development Officer and is very keen to represent the local area that he knows so well and feels so passionate about. Thomas is the Liberal Democrat GLA candidate for Havering and Redbridge in the 2020 May elections and also the current Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for Hornchurch and Upminster constituency

Shahidul Ratan Alam

Shahidul Alam Ratan, an ECB Level 3 Coach and coach educator, has huge coaching experience from grassroots to elite level, junior cricket to high performance, as well as mentoring coaches, administration, planning, development and creative ideas to grow the game at both a recreational and elite level. Ratan is currently CEO of Capital Kids Cricket (CKC) charity where he has been instrumental in establishing and executing strategic partnerships with various cricket organisations including the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), County Cricket Boards (Essex, Middlesex, Surrey), the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), Chance to Shine and other sports development organisations. Prior to CKC, Ratan served as the National Coach and High Performance Senior Coach for Bangladesh from 2001 to 2006. As part of the role, he was involved in assisting in the coaching of the Bangladesh Under 19 team (World Cup 2004), assisting the national team training as well as both the Under 25 and Under 17 teams. Ratan is also one of the only Bangladeshis who has worked as National Coach for a different country. He was the National Coach for Malaysia’s Cricket Team from 2006 to 2008. As part of the Malaysia Cricket Coach role, Ratan prepared the Under 19 squad to compete in the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup, 2008. Many of those players are now playing as national team players. Mushfiq Rahim (Bangladesh Captain), Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyadh and Nasir Hossain are some of notable names of professional cricketers coached by Ratan. As of today, he has delivered over 50 courses on Cricket Coaching for teams and individuals across Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan, England, Switzerland and Sweden. Ratan is a founding member of Tower Hamlets CC, West Ham & Stratford CC, Spikes Bridge Junior CC and Leyton Wicketz CC. For recognition of his work in England, Ratan received the National Award for Developing Grassroots Cricket at the Asian Cricket Awards 2016. The awards were sponsored by the England & Wales Cricket Board. He is also on the prestigious list of British Bangladesh Who’s Who, 2016 and British Bangladesh Power 100 in 2004. As a player, Ratan was an opening/middle order, right hand, batsman and wicket keeper. He played at the highest-level of domestic cricket in Bangladesh from 1985 to 2000 and represented Bangladesh three times in 1990

Kalyan Kumar

Kalyan Kumar B. (KK) is the Corporate Vice President and the Global CTO of HCL Technologies. He is also a member of the eminent Wall Street Journal CIO Network. Apart from his professional commitments, he spreads the message of an inclusive world through music as a drummer and percussionist with an India-based rock band ‘Contraband’. KK is a passionate cricketer himself and admires the vision and intent of CricFitSport. Additionally, KK is focusing on promoting the game and spirit of cricket via his association as a Trustee of Capital Kids Cricket, a London-based charity that promotes cricket in state schools in London across the underprivileged areas in the UK

Mahbubul (Mabs) Alam – Head Coach

Mabs comes with broad range of experience in Cricket coaching and Cricket events and competitions management. Currently, Mabs is working as Development Coach in Essex CC. Previous experiences include Performance Coaching at Surrey County CC, Tutoring, high profile events management. Mabs is also plays cricket as a pro and is specialist wicket keeper and batsman.

Mahbub (Mabs) Hussain

Mabs comes with wealth of experience in Cricket coaching with experience in coaching for Middlesex County CC, Surrey County, Lords Cricket Ground (MCC). Mabs is also an active cricket player and enjoys playing competitive cricket during summer

Adnan Chowdhry

Adnan is an experienced coach working on various projects with schools, clubs and charities to provide good quality coaching. Currently, Adnan is working as Development Coach in Essex CC. Adnan is best known for his passion for cricket and is taking a major initiative to develop tape ball cricket in England

 

Judy Lewis

Judy comes with significant amount of experience as a Level 3 in Personal Training and Level 2 in Gym Instruction. She has a degree in nursing and has specialised in diabetic nursing. She has completed several courses in nutrition and nutrition in fitness which includes outdoor fitness, power plate fitness and exercise and physical activity in children. Judy simply follows her passion for fitness and likes to work with individuals or as a group on fitness requirements pertain to their requirements. Judy has specially identified and built fitness training plans for young children focussed in Cricket. Her previous experiences varied from working as a practice nurse in GP surgeries to working with blue chip pharmaceutical companies. 

 

Jerry Bramble

Jerry, an ECB level 2 Coach has a strong passion for cricket and providing multi sports activities to schools. Jerry’s passion came from his childhood where he played cricket whenever and wherever possible, later reaching New Zealand to play cricket as a professional cricketer, playing against the likes of Richard Hadlee and more. He has decades of experience and a specialist coach in CFS working on technique.
